Series Three Friends
The Judoon | Paul Kasey / Nicolas Briggs
Species:- Judoon.

Appearances:- 'Smith and Jones' (3.01)

Role:- The Judoon are intergalatic mercinaries who uproot the Royal Free Hospital in order to bring the Plasmavore to justice.

William Shakespeare | Dean Lennox Kelly
Species:- Human.

Appearances:- 'The Shakespeare Code' (3.02)

Role:- "The bard" is an Elizabethan playwright who is penning his story named "Love's Labour's Won" when, unbeknownst to him, a witch writes the final words that would set her kind free.

Brannigan | Ardal O'Hanlon
Species:- Cat.

Appearances:- 'Gridlock' (3.03)

Role:- Brannigan is a Cat who is looking for work with his wife and kittens. He has been on the Motorway for ten years. He saves the Doctor from the poisonous fumes of the motorway and helps him to track Martha down.

Kath McDonnell | Michelle Collins
Species:- Human.

Appearances:- '42' (3.07)

Role:- McDonnell is the captain of a ship being drawn towards a Sun. Her husband, Hal Korwin has been possessed. She is the only one to blame for the ship's misfortune since she used the Sun as an easy and illegal energy supply for the ship's engines. In the end, she saved the rest of her crew by opening the airlock with herself and Korwin inside.

Joan Redfern | Jessica Hynes
Species:- Human.

Appearances:- 'Human Nature' (3.08) & 'The Family of Blood' (3.09)

Role:- Joan is the matron at the Boys' school who falls in love with Mr Smith, who she belives to be one of the teachers. She is a widow of war and finds the things taking place around her quite horrific. That and the fact that she loses Mr Smith forever.

Timothy Latimer | Thomas Sangster
Species:- Human.

Appearances:- 'Human Nature' (3.08) & 'The Family of Blood' (3.09)

Role:- Tim is one of the pupils at the school who has a seemingly supernatural ability to guess things right. After discovering and opening the pocket watch on Mr Smith's mantlepiece, he listens to it and eventually returns it to the Doctor at the right time. He goes on to become a veteran of the first World War.

Sally Sparrow | Carey Mulligan
Species:- Human.

Appearances:- 'Blink' (3.10)

Role:- Sally unwittingly finds herself caught up in a plot to get the TARDIS back to the Doctor after visiting a derelict house. On her adventure, she sees her friend disappear, a potential lover in a hospital bed and finally gets to meet the man behind it all.

Chantho | Chipo Chung
Species:- Malmooth.

Appearances:- 'Utopia' (3.11)

Role:- Chantho is the last surviving member of the Malmooth - the Inhabitants of the Planet Malcosero. She was a loyal assistant to Professor Yana until he opened the pocket watch. Knowing she had to stop him, she killed him. Almost.

Lucy Saxon | Alexandra Moen
Species:- Human.

Appearances:- 'The Sound of Drums' (3.12) & 'Last of the Time Lords' (3.13)

Role:- Lucy Saxon, the wife of Harold Saxon (revealed to be the Master), is a woman who comes from what is described as a harmless family. Under the Master's spell, she travelled with him to Utopia where she met the last of the Human race. When the Master's hold on her was broken, she shot him dead in apparent revenge.


Series Three Villains
Empress of Racnoss | Sarah Parish
Species:- Racnoss

Evil Intent:- To replace her long since dead race using a banished power source and to consume the Human race.

Appearances:- 'The Runaway Bride' (Chr.2)

Tools of the Trade:- Robot Santas, Spider Webs, the Earth's core and a banned form of energy.

Florence Finnegan | Anne Reid
Species:- Plasmavore

Evil Intent:- To escape the persuing Judoon by powering up an MRI scanner and taking their ships.

Appearances:- 'Smith and Jones' (3.01)

Tools of the Trade:- Slabs (a basic mechanoid made from rubber), a drinks straw and some cunning use of Electromagnetism.

Lilith | Christina Cole
Species:- Carrionite

Evil Intent:- To free her fellow kind and wreak havoc on the Earth.

Appearances:- 'The Shakespeare Code' (3.02)

Tools of the Trade:- Voodoo dolls, cauldrons and the power of words.

Macra | The Mill
Species:- Macra

Evil Intent:- The Macra are crab-like beings who feed on gas, which the motorway exhaust fumes from the Motorway provide them. When they spot hapless motorists they kill them.

Appearances:- 'Gridlock' (3.03)

Tools of the Trade:- Large claws.

Professor Richard Lazarus | Mark Gatiss
Species:- Human (sometimes!)

Evil Intent:- To live for a very long time. However, his quest to do so means that he becomes a monster that sucks the life force out of people.

Appearances:- 'The Lazarus Experiment' (3.05)

Tools of the Trade:- A very complicated (and unreliable) machine and a long tail.

Hal Korwin | Matthew Chambers
Species:- Human

Evil Intent:- To kill the crew of the SS Pentallian for taking some of the Sun's particles.

Appearances:- '42' (3.07)

Tools of the Trade:- A body temperature of 100 degrees and eyes that burn someone to death.

Baines | Harry Lloyd
Species:- Human / Family of Blood.

Evil Intent:- To capture and kill the Doctor in order to live forever.

Appearances:- 'Human Nature' (3.08) & 'The Family of Blood' (3.09)

Tools of the Trade:- Killer Scarecrows, atomiser weapons and a psychic link to his family.

Weeping Angel | Aga Blonksa
Species:- The Weeping Angels.

Evil Intent:- Feeding on people's potential future energy by blasting them back into the past.

Appearances:- 'Blink' (3.10)

Tools of the Trade:- Lightning speed and an indestructable statue form.

The Toclafane | Zoe Thorne, Gerard Lohan, and Johnnie Lyne-Pirkis
Species:- Humans from the far future.

Evil Intent:- To create their own empire under the rule of their saviour, the Master.

Appearances:- 'The Sound of Drums' (3.12) & 'Last of the Time Lords' (3.13)

Tools of the Trade:- Encased in their spheres, these Human beings are armed with knives and laser guns. Only a very large amount of electrical current disarms their sphere weaponry.
