The Story
After rebuilding the TARDIS, the Doctor forgets to turn the shields back on. Unfortunately, a collision occurs with a former journey. This causes the fifth Doctor to appear alongside the tenth in the TARDIS. Both Doctors have very little time to untangle the TARDIS to prevent a black hole forming, but the tenth is easily distracted by the presence of his former self.

Fortunately, the tenth Doctor is able to recall how to overcome the situation and allows his former self to return. He doesn't put up the shields in time to avoid a collision with the Titanic though!

Memorable Quotes
Fifth Doctor: It would help, it really would, if there wasn't some skinny idiot ranting in my face about every single thing that happens to be in front of him!

Fifth Doctor: Oh, no! Does [the Master] still have that rubbish beard?
Tenth Doctor: No, no beard this time. Well, a wife.

Editor's Review
Time Crash is just a short bit of fun really and it acts as an alternate scene to the one that we saw at the end of Last of the Time Lords. Like the previous Children in Need special, the Tenth Doctor is excitable and over-bearing - something his former self, played by Peter Davison, takes exception to.

It was quite good and provides the fans with an explanation as to why the Titanic was able to penetrate the TARDIS walls. Peter Davison excelled - despite not being able to button up the jacket! Overall, a nice brief moment of Who before Christmas. (Dan Ludlow)
