The Doctor has changed his appearance. Rose stands by in disbelief, looking at the man standing in front of her. At first, he jokes about his appearance before Rose assumes that someone has replaced him.
The man (who confirms he actually is the Doctor) then sets the co-ordinates to return Rose home (if she wants) on Christmas Eve 2005. Then, due to a problem with his regeneration, he goes mad. He speeds up
the TARDIS to go faster and faster. Then a bell rings. They are about to crash land!...

Doctor: Do you remember? Hopping for our lives, yeah? All that hopping. Remember hopping for your life, yeah?
Doctor: Although, having met your mother, nut loaf would be more appropriate.

I tuned in from the beginning of the Children in Need show, eagerly waiting for the moment when this scene would be shown. I decided to watch from 7pm to ensure that I wouldn't miss it and what a scene it was!
David Tennant was bounding around the room, flicking switches and appearing evermore insane whilst Rose stood there dumbstruck at his behaviour. This has got to be one of the best in-TARDIS scenes ever.
Three and a half minutes well worth waiting for!
