The Doctor takes Rose to see the London 2012 Olympic Games. Upon their arrival however, Rose spots a lamppost full of posters for lost kids. All of the kids have disappeared in the last week from
the newly re-named Dame Kelly Holmes Close in London.
They find out that Chloe, a girl living in one of the houses in the Close, is drawing pictures of people and that these drawings are causing the kids' disappearance. The alien creature living
inside Chloe is unable to re-connect with her brothers and sisters, so has chosen to capture a great many Humans instead.
As the Doctor and Rose seek to locate the Alien spaceship, Chloe draws the Doctor and Rose finds herself alone in the search...

Chloe: I'm busy. Unless you want me to draw you. Mum.
Doctor: If living things can become drawings then maybe drawings can become living things.
Kel: You just took a Council Axe from a Council Van and now you're digging up a Council Road. I'm reporting you to the Council!
Rose: It's a Spaceship. Not a Council Spaceship I'm afraid.

This single episode story from Matthew Graham, who is the co-creator of BBC1's drama 'Life on Mars', is an OK story. The premise of a kidnapping alien monster is a good one, but the story did
feel a little dull. I did like the Council line (see above) in which Council was pronounced more like "Cancil" and the child really was quite chilling, especially when communicating with the
Doctor as the alien.
I can't help but feel that it's very hard to create effective menace within forty-five minutes and, apart from the wardrobe drawing of her deceased Dad, there was little menace in the episode.
Maybe it's because the standard is so high that good that I feel this way. It's certainly not a bad episode.
