The Story
Phobos (one of Mars’s two moons), has become somewhat of a thrill seeker's paradise. Among the attractions is bungee-jumping down a "wormhole" located at the peek of one of the Moon's mountains. Kai Tobias, one of Phobos's residents, warns of tall, hairy monsters. No-one believes him until someone is attacked. However, the monsters are nothing but droids. The Doctor realises that it is Kai who poses the real threat...
Editor's Review
Phobos is a good story, but nothing much happens in the first half, which is full of character introductions. The real villain of the story only comes to light in the last five minutes and somewhat lacks menace.

However the cast, including Timothy West, are very good. The sub-plot of inter-species relationships and prejudices is intriguing as well, although we never learn much about Amy and Farl. That headhunter is still chasing after Lucie... (Dan Ludlow)
